Classically trained modern realist, Jo Ellen Reinhardt's work has been shown in many prestigious museums, galleries, and exhibitions throughout the North East.  Although best known for still life paintings, she also enjoys painting other genres such as plein air, landscape, figurative, and portrait.

Jo Ellen received her classical training at the New School of Classical Art. She is a signature member of the renowned Pennsylvania Watercolor Society and the Academic Artists Association. Most recently her work was published in the January / February 2012 edition of Artist's Magazine and in the July 2011 issue of American Art Collectior. In 2010 she was presented the Graphic Artist Honors Award for her work entitled "Gina" from the Academic Artists Association at their 60th National Exhibition of Contemporary Realism.

Jo Ellen currently paints out of her Massachusetts studio, The Atelier at the Sprinkler Factory. In addition to creating new works, she enjoys passing her knowledge onto the next generation via her position as Adjunct Professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and as Instructor at the Worcester Art Museum.
